History
The Department of Business Administration was established in 1957 and was one of the first- established departments in Ming Chuan University. The department was originally called the Department of Business Management and subsequently changed its name into the Department of Business Administration in 1968. Ever since its establishment, the staff of this department have devoted much effort into teaching as well as research. The purpose of the department is to nurture professional managers with global perspectives. The Department of Business Administration has programs in four-year Bachelor, MBA, PhD, Executive MBA, and International MBA. Presently, the department has 1003 students, including 1200 in the undergraduate, 141 in the master’s program, and 12 in the doctoral program.
Mission goals/objectives
The mission of the Business Administration Department: is to cultivate students with professional managerial skills through continuously improving the educational environment, teaching them professional knowledge, preparing them with skills that can be readily applied to the job markets, and developing the attitude of working with joy and passion.
