Introduction to Taipei Baseball Club
The club filed an application for establishment in April of the 108 school year, and started club activities in July of the 109 school year according to the student club organization and activity guidance method. In addition to practicing baseball skills, he participated in major domestic group B baseball events such as the National College Baseball League and the Future Baseball Invitational Tournament, and also held friendly matches with Taoyuan Campus Baseball Club, Yangming University Baseball Club, etc. For the first time, he formed a joint team with the baseball club of Taoyuan campus to challenge the junior college cup baseball game and achieved good results in the national semi-finals.
The club is composed of more than 30 students from various departments and levels of Ming Chuan University Taipei Campus, as well as three external instructors and coaches, including players and team managers. Players can participate in club exercises, from coaches to coaches. While honing baseball skills, members get to know people who love baseball, relieve heavy schoolwork pressure and promote physical and mental health through sports. The team manager is the hero of helping the members to carry out the activities smoothly. All activities, records, photography, etc. are all from the hands of the team manager, and they can also learn word processing, photography skills and professional game records from the process.
Practice twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 18:30 to 21:00 at Bailing Bridge Softball Field or Shezi Island Baseball Field. Members go there by themselves, and there will be more than one coach to guide the members. Battling, garrisoning and base running practice, etc. Because baseball is a high-risk sport, emergency medical equipment such as ice packs and first aid kits will be prepared for each club activity. During the game, travel insurance will be separately insured depending on the insured items of the event itself. And comprehensive insurance, etc. Fortunately, under the guidance and advice of the coach, the club has never had any serious accident or accident, and will carry out club activities on the principle of safety first in the future.
