Features

Based on its goals, the Department of Communications Management has three significant program design features

Undeclared major in the first and second year of study
Based on the concept of 'integrated communication', the program design for first and second year students follows an 'undeclared major' plan. That is to say, in the first two years, students are able to arrange subjects without following the restrictions of a major.

  Interdisciplinary study design
In response to the changing media environment and various knowledge requirements, the Department integrates disciplines into its program design. Students in this department are able to learn comprehensively about the knowledge of communications management.

Equal weight on academic knowledge and practice
The Department of Communications Management is not only focused on academic study, but is also concerned with practical knowledge. To achieve this goal, this Department arranges co-teaching courses taught by scholars and professionals. Students in these courses are able to simultaneously gain knowledge of theories and practices. Besides, the Department also created an Intergrated Marketing Communication Center for its students to execute projects entrusted by government entities or media companies.
