We visited the Legislative Yuan to learn about the historical background and institutional development of the Legislative Yuan, where many of our laws were born.
Under the guidance of the tour volunteers, we got to know the changes of the building where the Legislative Yuan is located from the Japanese rule period to the present day, and we also went into the interior of the chamber. Although we were unable to listen to the meetings due to scheduling irregularities, we were able to visit the voting site up close and personal, which allowed us to have a concrete feeling of the operation of the Legislative Yuan.
Through this visit, we gained a clearer understanding of the organizational structure and working mode of the Legislative Yuan, which not only broadened our legal knowledge, but also enhanced our recognition of and concern for the democratic system.
